Originally from Switzerland, Robert Gebhardt has been a translator since childhood. He started translating for extra money while in high school, and continued to do so throughout college and graduate school. These days, his clients include banks, corporations, non-profits, consulates, as well as private individuals, and he has been able to expand and set up his own boutique Translation Agency called Lugano Translations.
He has been a featured speaker at ATA-sponsored conferences, as well as the New Zealand Society of Translators and Interpreters Conference and has also written books on freelance translation.
